A village in its own right, just west of Hermanus, built around its beach and lagoon. It carries more than its size suggests: a pharmacy, a bakery, a filling station and a short run of restaurants including Milk on the Beach and Moltenos. Unusually green too, with small parks threaded through the streets and the Vermont Salt Pan on its edge.
