The eastern end of residential Hermanus, out past Kwaaiwater. Grotto Beach and the long run of sand toward the Klein River lagoon are the draw. Beyond an OK Minimark and a couple of restaurants, Dutchies among them, there is very little here, so the shops are a drive rather than a walk and there is more space between houses than closer to the centre.
